Description
The Crown Automotive Heavy Duty Rear Bumper and Tire Carrier is a simple upgrade for your Wrangler YJ or TJ. This two-piece bumper with swing out tire carrier mounts to the original locations on the Jeep and has an integrated 2" receiver which allows you to carry baskets and bike carriers, expanding your Jeep limited load capacity. Bumper is constructed from 3/16" plate steel while the tire swing uses square tube for strength. Swing-out operates independently from factory tailgate and wheel mount pattern uses the original 5x4.5".

    For the price, you can’t go wrong. Haven’t had any issues with this setup, it does start to rattle just a bit, but then you can tighten up the swing on the spindle and it’ll stop rattling

    Great tire carrier, do yourself a favor and drop the fuel tank on the yj and give your fingers some room.

    Does this bumper have a smooth finish?
    No, it has a light textured finish to it.
    can I use my Reese hitch receiver with this bumper so I an still tow a camper?
    No unfortunately they will both use the same nut locations on the frame and crossmember.
    What is the weight rating for the hitch receiver? Is it a class 2?
    The receiver has a 200 lb. tongue weight limit (for baskets and carriers) but is not rated for flat towing.
