Crown Automotive Front Exhaust Pipe with 4 catalytic Converters Reviews
08 jk x. I got a 2 piece one and it went in fantastic. If you are not cutting your old one out, support the transfer case, remove the crossmember ir loosent it. Easy after that. Don't forget to replace all the sensors. Did not even try and remove the old ones. Good and easy job. Will take a few hours, don't forget to PB blast the nuts on the manifold.
This would have cost me over 3k from the dealer. This is a superior catalytic converter and the shipping as perfect.
Box came damaged with no packing material and labels on the exhaust… which will burn off but didn’t smell great. Install took longer than expected due to one of the 02 sensors bungs having bad threads. We had to grind the welds beat the bung out and weld a new bung in. Had to drop skid plates and trans crossmember to fit everything in as the bends are not identical to factory and contacted the crossmember upon re install. Had to use a block of wood to bend the exhaust up away from the crossmember and still isn’t perfect as the pipe connecting the driver to passenger hangs lower than factory and would contact my skid plate. I have only driven around 30-40 miles since install but the check engine light seems to be off p0420/30. Factory cats were for sure clogged.
