Featuring a centrifugal weight system and ball-bearing pressure plate which provides smooth engagement, the dual-zone pressure plate is designed to increase holding capacity, all without the extra pedal effort. The included high-inertia billet steel flywheel helps to keep engine RPM's steady in more difficult terrain. Bolt-in application, includes everything needed for a simple installation.
Update: The new kit will now include an improved hydraulic system. Every component of the clutch system was analyzed. By redesigning and fixing all of the problems the OEM clutch had, our Centerforce II and Dual Friction kit will offer Jeep owners the ultimate problem fixer and provide additional performance as well.
Flywheel Included: The high inertia billet steel flywheel assists in keeping RPM's where they need to be while off-road. Best of all, it is included in this kit.
Pilot Bearing: An upgraded pilot bearing is also included in this kit.

Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch Kit & Flywheel Reviews
Most recommended and reliable clutch on the market
Love this clutch! The factory clutch wore out at at just 22,000 miles and I didn't have much confidence in Jeep's factory replacement. Centerforce has done an amazing job at re-engineering this with a heavier flywheel and all the right parts to put it in. I paid a professional mechanic to install (5 hours labor) and he was pleased with the kit as well. They did have to bleed the hydraulic clutch line a couple times to resolve some issues with not shifting into first, but once that was worked out, this has been nothing but awesome! Pedal feel is a bit firmer but not too heavy. The inertia from the heavier flywheel makes drive ability sooo much better. It's less prone to stalling, has more torque for accelerating from standstill and lower speeds, and I've seen zero impact on fuel mileage. Centerforce came through where the manufacturer came up short for manual transmission JL's!
Such a big difference over stock, just pulling out of the parking lot I noticed how much smoother and easier it is to drive now. Definitely recommend if you drive a MT. If I had to state one wish/negative, even though I love the feel of the hydraulics in the clutch pedal, I wish it had a bit more weight to it, but that's more of a nit-pick.
