Bushwacker Trail Armor Twill Fast Back Soft Top Reviews
Gave it a 1 because 0 wasn’t an option Run from this top as fast as you can!!!! Fit and finish was a major after thought i mean there are gaps big enough to stick your hand through....Top and backside of the door have major gaps and the windshield header is to wide making it look awful you can even see where they attempted to fix a leak prone area with a tiny piece of gasket that looks like a 5 year old thought it up....the fact that quadratec would sell this piece of crap lets me know what they think of their customers...will not spend another dime with you guys if this is what we can expect from you!!!!
Nice looking top but...snaps wouldn't stay snapped on the header bar...too many areas that don't fit correctly so rain will get into the cab...rear window doesn't fit had to remove parts just to zip it most of the way down... instructions are blurry and not that great...door surrounds didn't line up well at all.
Yes I laid it out in the sun and it's was around 78 today. Layed the top out as I put together the surrounds and put them on. Did this by myself and took about 5 hours due to having to remove parts and fight to put the door surrounds on.
First I live in AZ, was 115 degrees the day I installed this top, it's been one week since the install. Starting from front to back,
1)Snaps for top to flip top header channel are not directly align, male to female, off as much as 1/8"
2) Header channel, even at tightest setting, does not secure flush with the windshield frame
3) Between the top and the door surround frames there is a gap of about 3/8" from the windshield to the first , pivot point for the flip top causing excessive wind noise and vibration of the top fabric at speeds above 40mph
4) Step 31 clearly states Wrap the two straps attached to the middle section of the top around the back of the sound bar.......straps do not reach around the back of the sound bar, and if you attached around the front of the sound bar you create a pond in the roof
5) A week into the install completion and the rear wind still does not meet the velcro attachment fully and creates wrinkles in the rear window
6) The tailgate bar does not snap into or lock into the retainer clips, it wants to roll out, you have to hold the bar in place and slam the tailgate, but this leaves the weather seal above the top of the tailgate.
The only reason I gave this item 1 star instead of no stars was the twill material seemed to be good quality. I replaced my old Best Top with the Bushwacker a mistake on my part. I know have to go into the modification mode to get things to fit properly. Quality Control on this top doesn't seem a priority in manufacturing.
