Description
The Bestop Roughrider Tailgate Shelf is an easy-to-install, easy-to-use accessory every 2007-2017 Wrangler should have. Great for the trail, around town and especially tailgating at your favorite sporting event. Use the shelf to temporarily hold coffee, tools or gear, even a laptop! The pop-up mesh crate works great for groceries, too! No-drilling installation takes just a few minutes. Once installed on the tailgate, push the release button and the shelf pops down, and the net pops up into place. The mesh netting is removeable for unencumbered use of the shelf itself.

Ordered this shelf for my Jeep tailgate because it appeared to be the easiest to install and has good functionality - shelf + basket integrated. The other offerings required drilling and inserting nuts (required special tool). I got this out of the box and it actually only took me 5 minutes to install. The instructions were very clear and the install is very secure. Functions great and gives me exactly what I needed as a workspace for my camp stove and other activities. I like how the net forms a spring loaded basket as well. You can remove the basket easily (velcro tabs) if you don't need/want it.
