aFe Power Sprint Booster Power Converter Reviews
I bought this for my wife's 2019 Wrangler, that dead feeling gas pedal went away instantly, I run it on the Sport setting, #7, there are 10 settings in both the Sport and Race modes, I have no idea why, I had it on #3 in both race and sport modes, the race was too much for my liking so I backed down to the Sport mode and turned it up to #7 without playing with the other settings much, where its at is just fine, I can pass with confidence, accelerate like a jackrabbit :) I've owned many vehicles with tuners, this is not a tuner, you don't need to run supreme or make any other changes, you just have a zippier response when you hit the gas, a great and necessary add on. I also submitted a pic of the plug on top of the gas pedal, the instructions were simple, but they didn't say how to take the factory off, I could not unplug it, I pried, I channel locked (see the marks:), I then got a sketch or a pic from the mfr., It took a week or so to arrive (Quadratech had no info on that plug, they had the generic sketch that's in the instruction book). that explained how to get that plug off, in that pic, wedge a tiny screwdriver between the red plate and the main body behind it,the red piece will pop out toward you, once you get it loose with the small screwdriver you can get your fingers on it and that red will pull out a bit, then you can lift that main hunk off and insert the new booster, I kept the indicator light and left it dangling under the steering wheel,I'll post a pic. Popping of the plastic dash piece was pretty helpful, its the piece directly under the steering wheel, I didn't take it off completely, the cloth that hides the wires was somehow in place holding the panel up,but having that panel removed was a help, you end up with your right hand down through that opening under the wheel and your left hand reaching under the dash, fun stuff !
