Many states have laws that limit the maximum height of a lifted vehicle. Never exceed the legal height limit.
Bilstein Shocks: Tuned to work best with the Dualsport RT lift kit, the Bilstein 5100 series shocks offer a slightly firm response to give you more control even at higher speeds.
Triple-Rate Coil Springs: Being able to handle load and hard braking better than the factory springs was the focus behind developing the triple-rate coil springs in this lift kit. AEV has achieved this without sacrificing the ride quality for daily drivers or serious off-roading.
Calibration Tool Included: AEV includes the ProCal SNAP with the lift kit to calibrate when adding bigger tires or changing the axle gear ratio. Installing the ProCal harness allows you to control the calibrator using the in-dash touch screen making it very user-friendly.

AEV 2.5in DualSport RT Suspension System Reviews
This kit was recommended by Jeff Daniels Jeep, and it has been fantastic. On or off road, this kit can handle it. Great road handling, great off road capacity/handling. Highly recommended. 2020 Jeep Wrangler JL Sport.
We decided to go with the AEV over the Mopar because of other reviews around the ride quality of the variable rate springs. I can say the reviews were spot on. The installation took about a day, taking our time as a father/son project. Our garage is well equipped, but the control arm brackets were an issue because of the high torque bolts and access via jack stands. We brought it for an alignment and had the shop do the brackets, in all a logical solution. The Jeep drives and handles better than stock. A truly great upgrade!
I have 2.5 inches more ground clearance than stock. The jeep really does drive better on the road with this suspension system installed than it did stock. The fellow who installed it for me loves AEV suspension kits: everything is there, it is all well made, and everything fits exactly. (He said he is sorry he can't say that about other kits that he has installed in his 14 years of doing suspension work at a Jeep dealership.) Beware: the jeep dealer tried to convince me to go with the MOPAR kit, saying it is a clone of the AEV kit and covered by the jeep warrantee. It is NOT a clone: the shocks are a different brand, the springs are single-rate (the AEV springs are triple-rate so they don't launch you into space under low loads and they don't let you sink too low when loaded down for overlanding. Other differences are in the details. I just did level 5, 6, 7, and 9-rated trails at the 2019 Trail Hero event. There were sand roads with lots of humps and dips of various sizes and spacing between them. On a dozen or more occasions, everything tied down in back lifted off the floor and thumped back down and the suspension never hit the stops, up or down. Nothing jarring. Fantastic. The articulation was good, certainly good enough for the obstacles I crossed. (I used the go-around on some of the 9-level challenges, however.) Highly recommended!
