A terrific gift for my wife!

Works great. One can hardly feel the sun when using it and holds great in speeds.

I shave my head and it keeps the solar radiation from cooking my dome when driving and lets the fresh air in and keeps the leaves and other debris out.

Fit well.
Not a fan of the velcro flap at the windshield frame being the only retention method in the forward position

Product fits well and is fairly easy to install. Would have rated it higher, however, the necessary Hook and Loop strip was not included. Good thing that I just happened to have some left over hook and loop strip from another project. Ironically, they did include an adhesion promoter packet for the missing strip.

Best price on this type of top I've seen. Some issues though...

1. No holes to help you install/remove the freedom panels. You can leave it on while you do but I'm sure I will stretch out the mesh eventually.

2. Tightens a little strangely. Once you get the hang of it you can usually keep it pretty tight. Kind of feels like a one season product. Time will tell. Even if it is the price is cheap enough to use and dump.

I have been using the sun shade for a week now. I am pleased with it. It cuts down the sun and the overhead air flow. I think it feels cooler driving with the sun shade in the 90's than it did without it on. Once on, it does not flap around. It comes with a pouch for storage, but I expect to leave it on all year long (partly because it is awkward to thread the straps under the top)

Downsides: It is a little awkward to put the top on and off, trying to reach thru the holes for the cams. Also, installation took 2 people to put it on, and the instructions were not easy to understand.

No matter how hard I tried, I could not get a tight fit on this sunshade and have flapping in the wind. Otherwise it was a decent cover for the sun.

Nice price but HORRIBLE product. Will not tighten up so it sags. I’m 6 foot tall and it rubs the top of my head. Poor design, it’s supposed to anchor to the front window channel buy some flimsy Velcro. I would not recommend spending any money on this product. I hope someone comes up with a good bikini style top for the JL soon.
