Like everything LOD makes, they're bulletproof and look great. Welds and powdercoat finish are excellent. Made in USA!

5 stars just for how they package these things! It was harder to unpack them than it was to install but is much appreciated as they arrived with no damage. They are very strong, provide a nice step, have a nice finish, and do not require fully removing the body mounts which is important on the JL.

So far loving these side steps and my husband didn't have too much trouble installing them.

The Signature Series Side Steps from LOD is well made of good quality powder coated steel. The installation instructions aren't written very well. It made no mention that the Jeep Body mount bolts has to be loosened then retorqued in order for the side steps to be mounted to the frame. My jeep was already lifted on 37's so my jack couldn't hold the sidesteps in place. I needed many hands. We all strained holding the steps in place but couldn't clear the body mount bolts. The opening on the LOD steps needs to be a few MM wider to clear the Body mounting bolts which would make the installation a breeze.
