Reviews for MBRP S5529BLK Black Series 2.5" Dual Axle Exhaust System for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL with 3.6L
For the price I couldn't be happier (I got it on sale). I wanted an aggressive looking exhaust but not too loud. This was perfect. You can hear the throatiness when you start it and I would say at 2500 RPM you really hear the lower notes as well as some other speeds but overall I can't always tell there is much of a difference from stock but it does look awesome. I would say this is a 2.5 out of 5 for loudness.

Great muffler and sound. I installed this on my 2013 JK a couple years ago and now my 2020 JL.
Sound is better from factory, a small increase in loud with a slight throaty sound. I have not seen an increase in mileage hoping with air intake it might make a difference. install was pretty simple for first attempt at exhaust, but def need a little muscle to connect exhaust to cat pipe.
Hot Garbage. Looks great when new. Sounds awesome when new. Problem is that after 3 years, the pipe is rusted through where it comes into the muffler. Not partial holes, COMPLETELY through the whole pipe!. The muffler is no longer connected to the pipe going over the axle. It's hanging by the hooks with the muffler tips pointing to the ground. I had to wire it up til I get a replacement muffler. All the "new" hangars, clamps, etc are coated in rust. Stock portion of the exhaust still looks great, so it's not the environment (Virginia). This is made of cheap steel that WON'T last. Save yourself the hassle and buy a reputable muffler. Never again.
