Replacing the same product as my old one only half the lights work anymore after 3 years.

Easy, install, looks good. May not be DOT. approved but it does add a lot of extra red light when braking. Plus it looks cool! We installed several quadratec brand parts and accessories, have been happy with all of them.

Absolutely love thus item, the only thing I would do if I was the vendor is instead of having it just set up there as you try and get your oversized tire back on it, maybe have some rubber bushings inlay them in the bolt holes so you can just push it on and it grab as you fight to put your tire back.

The look

Easy plug and play with no splicing. Very bright LEDs and perfect for my 17-inch wheel.

The first LED ring I got had an internal fault on arrival causing random flickering on the top 4 LED diodes; however, through great customer service I got a working replacement within a couple days and sent the defective device back. The installation is very easy to the point I would only call this a 1 wrench project. With a power drill with a T-20 torx bit; and 3/4 inch socket wrench; this was a solo install that took less than 10 minutes and is true plug and play. The LED is not as bright in the day than it is at night, but it does clean up the look of the rear of the Jeep. The wires coming from the base of the unit feels a bit flimsy, but a little silicone sealant was enough to protect that spot and seal it from dirt and moisture. It will be a concern that the y harness connection points are on the outside of the housing and has the potential to get wet, but a little know how with silicone or external guards can help with the water/dirt exposure issue. When installing the product, make sure the Y harness is firmly pressed into the sockets. It may feel firm at first, but because of how tight the connection points are; you may have a loose connection point that can wiggle free and disable the 3rd brake light till you reconnect it again. Just make a good habit of checking the connection points every so often when you check your brake lights anyway to ensure proper function. For the price of the unit; it is a good quality product if you are looking to easily change the look of your Jeep for a more modernized tech look; while improving safety.

Had to cancel the order because this product was on back order for so long. However once they did come in my wife seen it before I did and she ordered it, I got mine and hooked it up and it looks awesome

Love the light ring and it's easy install. Would be 5-star, but experienced quality issue. On one of the connectors on of the wires wasn't crimped or soldered into the connector and simply fell out. Had to snip wires and make a soldered connection.
