It's exactly what I expected. I wish it had a little bit longer reach, but it's sturdy!

Great idea to keep from tearing off your spare tire and rear hatch door! Simple to remove for using your hitch. Plus if some one bangs your rear end there is something besides your bumper to take the hit.

This thing is a beast. Wish I had it years ago. A great addition for my off-roading Jeep.

If you are running a standards 2" hitch only, this is the product for you, step and protection. BUT if you are running a Versahitch with two 1.5" and the 2" this won't fit. BUT having said that, sent email to bodyarmor4x4 to see if they are going to make a model for the Versahitch, but in the mean time, four bolts and I'm back to the original 2" receiver. OVERALL, even though I can't use it without switching, I'm totally happy with purchase, as I do believe it will do what it is designed to do. We shall see, Doing JEEP JAMBOREE TILLAMOOK in a week.

Straight forward, and well made. This thing is heavy duty. It has 2 holes for varying the depth it goes inside your hitch.

Have mine on a lifted 4Runner. Love the darn thing ( offroad and on ). Construction is solid, and the design is well thought out. It's only $99, so why not protect your rear end?

Bought it as a step but been using it on trails as a rear skid. Works great for both!
