Reviews for Go Rhino 332100T Rockline Front Bumper Skid Plate for 18-22 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited and Gladiator JT with Go Rhino Rockline Front Bumper
I have the bumper already
bolted right on.
Overall, sturdy constructed piece that completes the look of the front stubby bumper. There was some fitment issues. What I would recommend is once you get your bumper loosely in place, connect the skid plate and then tighten everything at the end. We had to redo our bumper bolts because the skid plate wouldn't initially fit on and had some fitment issues. Should have done it prior to tightening the bolts. The powder coat also came with a small chip in the front. Probably happened during shipping.
Yes the fitting it’s very off it’s not matching at all I have to bend and lift the plate with the car lifting jack so I align a little the holes i and up to install only 4 bolts not 6 . Looks ok in the end but it’s very bad alignment with the bumper holes very bad . Quality it’s nice looking good
I had the same fitment issues as another purchaser. Per the instructions the skid tucks into the rear of the bumper by inserting the center “lip” of the skid into the lower rear of the bumper. The outer “wings” of the skid are also supposed to tuck in behind the bumper, but they are angled too far out to tuck into the interior of the bumper. They solution would be to bend them, which I wasn’t prepared to do. I ended up mounting it externally, which I’m confident will be fine. I’ll submit a user photo to showcase this.
