Reviews for QuadraTop Upper Door Skins for 88-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ
Door skins were complete garbage.
Snaps would not engage, Velcro does not line up for fastening and one zipper has already separated.
They’ve been installed for a total of one hour.
Bad fit on window uppers. I bought the whole top and replaced it but the window uppers are not a good fit. The metal snaps in the front corner is very difficult to snap and the driver's side snap is going to have to be replaced because of poor quality metal. Not a good fit.
Driver side is way tighter than the passenger side. The zippers feel so cheap and the zipper on the driver side binds up and feels like it’s going to break and Ive just installed these. The whole reason I even bought these is because both zippers on my driver window broke off, really hope I don’t go through that again but if I do, I’ll get a different brand…
I'm really disappointed in the quality of these door skins. The skins were so tight to get on that I thought they were too small and this was on an 88 degree day when they should stretch easier. The zippers are very cheap. I've only had for a week and they want to bind up already. I have to pull the zippers super slow and bring both zippers together so that it closes without binding. I've never had to do this on previous windows. The driver side door skin is actually too short for the door. The skin material ends about 1-2" before the end of the door creating a big draft hole, it's not like that on the passenger side. I'll be taking these off & sending them back. I'm going back to my old scratched windows because at least they are better quality.
I've been buying from Quadratec for years but I've been very disappointed in the quality of the of top and door skins that I've recently purchased to make my Jeep look better.
Only had for 1 week and the cheaply made zippers came off.
