Good afternoon. I bought this item. I was wondering if I could purchase a second strap that goes over the top? The strap that’s in front over the top?

Can you storage the roof for a long period of time without it pulling on the sides and affecting the fit of the roof?

Once you have the top off with the Lange Hoist a top simple and its suspended in the air for storage, do you need to lock or is there a way to lock the crank in place?
Crank unit uses a front mount worm gear to make easy cranking and no chance of a runaway top if you let go of the handle. Thanks for your inquiry.
Does this product work with JK Unlimited models?

Does the cables come with it? Also, the stand in the picture is that part of it or is it showing storage options other than leaving it hanging?
The hoist does come with the cables. Tools and supplies needed: 9/16 socket 11/16 socket 5/16 socket or nut driver Electric screw gun Stud finder (optional) Level (optional) 2x6 8 feet . (If your studs are not at 16 inch centers you will need a longer 2x6.) 3.5 to 4 inch long screws to attach the 2x6 to your wall and ceiling. (approx. 20) The cart in the picture is not included. Sorry for the confusion.
I've seen the answer that the crank is designed for the back wall. How long are the cables? My garage is 30' deep, but I have equipment in the back. I can only back in the garage far enough to close the door, will the cables reach from front where I'm parked, to the back wall where the crank needs to be mounted?

Can the hand crank be mounted to the left or right of the vehicle on the wall or does it have to be straight back like in the photo? I have a door into my house directly behind my jeep so I would need to mount the crank to the left or right, or I would need to offset over. Would that mess it up?
This is designed to be mounted and operated from the rear of the vehicle.

How secure is that latch on the back window? I would want to store the hardtop suspended in the air. Is it secure enough and designed for that?
The hook actually attaches to the hardtop between the glass and the fiberglass. It has been designed to work for suspending the top in the air.
Does this come with the cable that will go from the hand crank all the way through the pulleys to the Strap?
Yes, it does.
