No noticeable reduction in reception. It's a big improvement over the long whip that was on there before. There is interference when I turn on the LED flood lights I have mounted on the windshield, but it literally touches it so I was expecting that. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I would highly recommend.

I didn't notice any loss in reception. The antenna wiggles slightly at highway speed but is rigid and doesn't bend or hit the window like softer antennas can. VERY happy with my purchase.

The antenna looks great and works wonderfully. Did not notice any major loss of function in regards to reception versus the OEM antenna. Already have challenged the antenna with brush, limbs and etc. It held up beautifully. Well worth the small investment for both look and functionality. Thank you to the Quadratec team for making purchases so worry free.

I did a comparison test of the my stock antenna to the new stubby one I received. I compared 10 stations - some near and some far away that came in with static to begin with. The stubby antenna brought in all the close stations but some with a little static. It also brought in the far stations but some had more static and one did not come in at all. Given that the antenna is much shorter than the stock antenna, I thought it performed well. It is a thick antenna and seems well made. I wanted an antenna that would not interfere with my Jeep cover and this did the trick. I do not feel that I lost any reception given its size. It is a well made product!
