Reviews for Kentrol 70002 Door Hinge Liners for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JK 4 Door
My 2011 with 100k still had the factory liners the afternoon I spent removing cleaning was to this point the best upgrade. we had to re learn how to open and close the doors they are smooth and don't require slamming to latch. the fix was perfect and the removal tool did the job nicely. If your doors are stiff or difficult to remove these is the answer.
Factory liners after two years were shot. With these in place I don't mind taking the doors off even if its just for one day. So much easier to lift them off and drop them back in! The price seemed steep for a few chunks of plastic but it was money well spent if you take your doors off.
Was exactly what I was looking for
Installed these into my 3 year old 2016 JK. Everything seems to be in good shape and my metal bearings were starting to rust even though my JK is stored in the garage. Time will see how these liners stand up to wear and tear.
Works as expected and makes it a lot easier to take doors in and out. Only issues is that they stick on the door pins sometimes, so have to take them off door and reinsert them after i remove the doors. perhaps i could tack glue them in the pin housing? #TeamKuzman
These were great while they lasted. one of the bushings came cracked from the factory, and I was not able to buy an individual replacement through kentrol. After 7 months they have become brittle, and 3/6 remaining bushings have cracked and shattered. I have been happy with every other kentrol product I have purchased.
Would not recommend, loose fit
These would probably be awesome, except they don’t fit Kentrol hinges.
