Just bought an 08 Sahara that had the 8 inch sub upgrade. Plug is still there but the box was missing. Can I buy the replacement sub and put it into a aftermarket 8in sub box?

I have a 2015 jk with premium alpine package. Will this fit? Asking because it appears rated up through 2014.
No, it will only fit the subwoofer boxes on the side of the Cargo area that were used 07-2014 model years with premium audio. The 15-18 JK uses a different subwoofer design altogether. We do not supply a replacement for those model years at this time. Thanks for your inquiry.
I have a factory cargo subwoofer that hasn't been working on my 2014 JKU (though I think mine is Alpine, not Infinity). Would this be a plug and play replacement? I'm also planning on installing the Alpine ILX 650 receiver w/ the KTA 450 amplifier.
This is direct fit plug and play for all 07-14 JK that have the premium sound package. It will also be compatible with aftermarket systems as long as the factory subwoofer wiring or amp wiring are all operating correctly. Thanks for your inquiry.

i have a 2013 with the factory woofer. if i upgrade to this woofer then lets say over the winter i upgrade the head & amp, will i be able to use this woofer still or should i wait on this purchase and get the woofer with the amp at the same time? not sure if many amps do the 2ohms. and if i can get a woofer with more bang at 4ohms.. also would a reg 8" woofer work with this box or is it too small??
This is compatible with any factory or aftermarket system if the system is ordered with correct installation wiring for what the factory audio system. Thanks for your inquiry.
Is there an amp it connects to? I have a 14 jk and mine did not come with the factory subwoofer. I was able to get a housing from another jeeper but unsure if they come with amps from the factory.
This cannot be retro fitted to non premium audio packages. The radio's factory wiring harness would not be correct to add this, even with the housing for it. Sorry.
What is the RMS and peak power for this subwoofer?
This is 100% identical to the factory sub except the cone is more durable. It's to OEM spec and is not upgraded in terms of power.
