These are way better than the oem ones. They are aluminum but they feel like solid steel! They also seem to be easier to install because with the oem ones I felt like I needed to crank them multiple times to get them tight but after just a few turns these are snug.

These look awesome! Especially when paired with the Quick Removal Kit that Rugged Ridge also makes. Nice solid aluminum construction. My only real gripe is that the "bottom" part that screws into the cross bar is textured just like the top so when you get close to screwing it in all the way it starts grabbing and marring the plastic that surrounds the nut these screw into. I would recommend some felt or maybe some gasket tape of some kind to stop it from catching.
