Reviews for Dirtydog 4X4 Front Seat Pet Divider for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited & Gladiator JT
Perfect for my dog
To protect front seats and dashboard from claw marks and holes.
Can be used behind rear or front seat. Ease of install.
Great quality product! Very easy install! Looks good in my Gladiator!
99.9% Love this net. Super quality and looks fantastic. Took maybe 15 minutes tops to install. Only complaint, which is very minor, is the directions indicate a nylon web type fastener to the roll bar. The fastener was steel. Took about 30 seconds to figure it out. If your looking for a good cargo/pet barrier, I highly recommend.
Just what we needed for our Gladiator. Great quality. Easy install. Looks great. Performs perfect. Keeps the pups in the back and looks great. I get asked all the time if this came with my vehicle from factory.
It's good. But dogs can chew right through this, if they want. My Lab has chewed through two now — one in a matter of minutes. I'll be going for metal next!
Mixed bag here. On the plus side, the netting is well made and it's overall a great system that's quick to set up and take down when I have someone in the back. I removed the passenger rear seat in lieu of a platform so this is great reassurance off road should the worst happen and the cargo decide it wants to come up front.
But the kit is a bit lacking. The hardware is just black oxide coated so it's probably going to rust if you like the top off in a humid environment. This isn't particularly load-bearing so some stainless hardware would have been preferred (I did just this) as well as a washer to go between the plastic insert and the nut.
Additionally, the cross bar fit in a JT is pretty bad. The brackets go in fine but the bar is about an inch too long - it touches the door weatherstripping on both sides. That's after I stood the 2-piece bar on end and hit it with a mallet to make sure it was seated. $10 later I have a 3/4" .120 wall aluminum tube with some silcone caps and it's fine (and still unable to work itself out).
Really, I'm just not sure this is actually for a JT as Quadratec is the only company who lists it that way. Still, it gets the job done even if there's room for improvement.
