i took these side steps (part# 82215145) off my jeep 2018 2 door JL and tried to install these on my 2021 jeep wrangler willys sport but it seems like the precut holes are being used for the rock guard that came factory installed? do i need to remove the rock guard or are there other side steps that will work with keeping the rock guard in place..on mopar website there are side steps part# 82215145ab. i was wondering if there is a difference? i looked at both instruciton and they seem the same...thanks deanne
The rock guard would need to be removed for mounting the production style steps. They will not both fit together for they use the same mounting points. Thanks for your inquiry.

They will fit a Rubicon once the factory Rubicon Rock Rails have been removed. At the moment, no steps are available to be installed at the same time as the Rubicon Rock Rails.
