So I will preface by saying I ordered these from Quadratec and instead of sending me the side steps for my JL they sent me a mid-width bumper for a JK. So an error on their part, returned the bumper and bought the side steps from somewhere else.

But these are so good. Install took 20 minutes, tops. The come with bolts for the pinch weld section already installed, so you literally line those up and the steps will hang in place. Screw in two nuts per section of the mount (so 6 on each side) with a 10mm wrench, and then one bolt goes into the frame of the Jeep (3 on each side) with a 13mm socket. That's it. Couldn't be easier, and they look great. I've had many an aftermarket side step on past Wrangler's that looked cool but took forever to install, requiring multiple components, brackets, some needed drilling, cutting, etc. I have never been happier with a set of side steps before.

This product deserves a 12 out of 10.
