Awesome look! All black really completes the look.

Installed Fuel Vapors on a stock 2020 Sahara High Altitude, no lift. Works perfectly. No rubbing even, with full wheel right or left lock, with regular driving thus far. Have not yet taken it off road yet though. I imagine that is where rubbing could occur if it’s rough or flexed enough.

I ordered the full wheel/tire package, with TPMS sensors. Vehicle picked them right up. Note, I did not order lugs, and upon receipt, could not mount the wheels. THE STOCK LUGS WILL NOT WORK FOR THIS APPLICATION! Do yourself a favor and order the Quad lug set which comes with a deep well star pattern socket to begin with. Something I didn’t even think about and nothing I saw online alerted me. Quadratec graciously overnighted them to me. Here was the full inventory of items:

-Fuel Vapor 17” Wheels (stock was 18”, but 17” preferred for off road Jeep activities - more rubber sidewall)
-Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T Tires 35 x 12.5 x 17
-TPMS Sensors
-Quad Lugs Set with multi-point Star Socket (I recommend leaving this in the vehicle, otherwise you could it change a spare)

This all ships mounted and balanced well. The set arrives to your door on a pallet, well sealed and wrapped from Quadratec (pics shown).

Lug Torque setting is NOT 130 lbs. as is the case stock. Quadratec recommends 85 to 95 ft. Lbs. for these wheels. I asked. For the spare, your call, but perhaps 59lbs to 60 lbs. is sufficient. You’re not putting this to a hub after all.

Speaking of that, when mounting the 5th spare tire, you will need to raise the 3rd brake light. Contrary to popular belief, you can’t only remove the 4 torx screws to do this. You need to remove the entire spare wheel mount, because you have to readjust the slack in the third brake light cable and then reset it into the feed through grove, to accommodate lifting the brake light higher. There are several YouTube videos that can help you with this if needed. That said, after I did that, and got it mounted, with no problems. I did have two observations:

1. I’m sure it’s fine, but…with the added weight of a 35” tire, it doesn’t seem as stable to me,
2. The backup camera alerts nonstop when in reverse. This is because the wheel is offset such that the camera picks up the bottom of the oversized tire and considers it an obstacle. You also will no longer be able to reinstall and use the stock backup camera protective shroud. It will no longer fit.

So, to compensate for both of these items above, I ordered the Teraflex HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit. It’s metal instead of plastic, and relocates the 3rd break light which offers a cleaner look and less obstruction through the top of the back window too, plus of course, much increased stability. Both problems solved.
