Reviews for Quadratec Hardrock Wheel for 07-24 Jeep Wrangler JL, JK & Gladiator JT
Waited a while , but worth it
The Quadratec Hardrock wheels that I purchase have been a great addition to my 2013 Jeep Wrangler MOAB. I use these with the stock Rubicon BFG tires and love the combo. Now, I need (3) more for the adventure trailer that I am building. I hope these become available again soon. Thanks, Qadratec for all the great products.

Nice rims
After extensive looking and reading numerous reviews, chose the HardRock wheels in gun metal gray for my "09 2 dr Rubicon. They arrived in 3-4 days, packed very well to protect the machined and painted surfaces. I mounted BFG KM3s 295/70/17's on them (this is a 33" tire). My first disappointment was the tires stick out ~1.5 inches from the stock fender flare. Description stated: "With 5.2" of backspacing the wheel and tire extend to the edge of the factory fender flare on Wrangler JK's ". Not what I expected. 2. After watching several videos about the various wheels, one suggestion was to put in your factory caps which is the look I wanted; the reason I chose the gunmetal gray so I could use my machined JEEP caps to go with the machined lip on the HardRock. The cap for the HardRock wheel is 3.5"; My stock JEEP cap from my Rubicon wheels is 3.125 " - not even close. No mention of the wheel opening being any different. Have the specs on this wheel changed??
These two items really changed the look I had planned based upon "hours" of research and determining the appropriate specs.
I don't think the same company was used to produce these as the factory Rubicon wheels. I bought 5, and 1 of them had to be returned due to the outer polished area having machining grooves in it. The replacement one they sent me has 2 little bubbles in the clearcoat. Super dissappointing, but not quite worth the hassle of returning and risking getting another one that might end up being worse.. Also another one had mounting marks one it around the whole perimeter inside the lip, so it appears someone tried to mount a tire on it already. I chose not to return that one since I assume they'll all have these marks when they tires get mounted anyway, and it isn't visisble from the outside.
