Reviews for Mickey Thompson SideBiter Wheel for 84-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ, TJ, Cherokee XJ, Grand Cherokee ZJ
Greeting from South Louisiana.
These Rims dressed up our Jeep very nicely. Had no issues with mounting the Rims to the standard Lugs. Very well packaged when arrived. Very pleased with how they fit and look. Well worth the wait for them.
These wheels are awesome. I love how they look. The paint is solid.
A couple things to be aware of. One, the center cap is plastic so it probably can't take a beating. Two, the thickness of the metal at the lug wells was a little more than my stock 01 XJ wheels so the rear wheel studs didn't poke through as far. I still got at least 5 or 6 turns with my lug nuts but you might want to go with longer wheel studs on the rear if you pick these rims for serious wheeling.
These are really nice, affordable wheels. Unique without breaking the bank.
Love these mags owned first set for over 2 years still look like new when cleaned up, also just bought more as setting up trailer, They clean up easy and I get lots of comments, this last mag ordered I'm not sure what issues main supplier had but order was waiting a long time? most likely due to Covid-19 issues, but once Quadratec obtained mag this was a very fast delivery to New Zealand ....Thank you team
Quality. Great looking wheel and no balancing issue's. I can recommend them to you. Now if they just offered 2 more colors next to the flat blk that would be great
Added these to my 1997 TJ Wrangler and they look and perform great. I get a lot of comments about them and I have yet to see them on another jeep. My Jeep is black so they really give it that extra bit of edge. I am running 31x10.x15 Goodyear Duratracs and same size iin the Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 (change for the winter) Both fit the rims perfectly and no balancing issues. they hold up well to the road conditions and the finish appears to be doing well. I've had them since 3/2016. They clean very easily and still look great. not shinny but not dull, the finish is perfect. I am taking away a star because the center cap is a cheap piece of plastic, they have not fallen off but I see them being an issue down the road if I do some serious trail work. The only other bad thing is that they looked so good, someone decided to steal the Jeep to get them.
