The light bar does not block the windshield washer nozzles.

I was a bit intimidated after reading the instructions off the internet about pretty much taking the dash and center console covers off. I was afraid of breaking something. But if you take your time it will go fine. I got it done in an afternoon.

The harness wiring from the lighter to the switch is short, so be prepared to mount the switch under the glove box

Overall, it is an awesome product.

Very cool and bright. Already have the J5 so install was real easy. Took me 45 minutes (with a relay box control panel). Spliced right into J5 wire for the running lights, no problem.

One star off for 2 reasons. First, the included instructions were very poor. No instruction videos were available online from Quadratec (which I thought was odd.) Had to find mediocre Youtube videos on tips (on how) to get through the firewall to install the switch, and disassemble the console.

The second reason is the lightbar came one day, and the other items (mount kit/wiring harness) came another day, so I couldn't do anything until everything arrived. PROBLEM IS, I didn't know the bar and the other items were going to be shipped separately. So when I opened the bar and tried to install, I noticed the mounts were wrong, and the wiring harness/switch were missing. I got angry because I thought my order was messed up.

If Quadratec would make it more clear on their page, or the order process, THAT THERE WILL BE TWO SEPARATE BOXES SHIPPED, then I wouldn't have freaked out and thought I got shafted. (Just a helpful note, Quadratec.)

Other than those issues, the bar itself is very nice, heavy, and solid. Appears to be well made. Looks amazing with the (not included) mount brackets, and with a little common sense and research, wasn't that bad to install. LOVE the amber running lights and how they turn on with my regular running lights. Thank you.

The light is very bright and the amber lights are super cool! the finished product works very well. only reason its not 5 stars is because of the lack of instructions... they give instructions on mounting the light bar and the brackets and show how to rout the amber light wire through the fuse box, but thats it. nothing on what wires go where. had to watch many videos on how to wire it all up. Aside from that, its well worth buying and looks and functions great!
