Reviews for Diver Down Front and Rear Neoprene Seat Covers for 87-95 Jeep Wrangler YJ
Weather proof
Quality and price are awesome! Fit on my 1987 YJ is good, not great. I recommend, but realize that it will not be a perfect fit. I think my back and passenger seats are original, with the driver being an after market, still fit well. They need more straps on the bottom to hold them in place. Good color options and price is right!
These seats fit ok in a 90 Sahara. Some of the stitching ripped after I put them on in two places. The driver seat cover and the seat belt do not get along. When I push the seat forward to let the kids in and push it the seat back, the seat cover bottom gets hooked on the female seat belt and pulls the bottom off. They are hotter than I expected. I also feel that the way the seat base and back are designed to be pushed into the joint doesn’t work as expected. I do like them just would like those things fixed or somehow modified. Would buy if you are considering it.
Colors fade too fast.
The covers do add comfort to tired old seats.
These are sharp and fit nicely on my 93 YJ. I found them easy to install and was glad to find a set which included the rear seat.
I, like others here have had some issues with fading. I have the Black/Grey combo and after 5 months they really started to fade. Quadratec did me right and sent replacements with no questions asked. Sadly in less than 5 months I'm having the same problem. My Jeep is fully covered most of the time but when it's not the rear seat is the only area that gets direct sunlight in the evening.
I called them today and asked about the fading issue. I sent them photos which they're going to share with the manufacturer. We'll see how it goes.
I have only had these on for 1 summer. I bought the all black covers, they are now all brown. Cant believe how fast they faded. Additionally, they are starting to come apart at the seams. Other than that though, they are very comfortable. If you dont take your top down, these are perfect.
No instructions. I'm not sure what holds the dowel stay in place.
I bought the jeep about six months ago. It had red and black seat covers that had faded to pink. I replaced them about two months ago to all black. I keep the jeep in the garage except for the last ten days on vacation. They are so faded I cant believe what has happened in a few days.
These seem to be quality materials, but they do not fit well in my 88 YJ. The hook and loop fastners joining the seat to the back do not catch due to the tight fit. I'll keep them, but suspect they will not last more than 2 seasons.
no installation instructions for my 91 YJ install. Could not secure the rear portion of the front seat and bottom of the backrests, couldn't secure the thick cord like panels between the seat and backrest .
Bought these in 2019 and they looked great for about a year, then they faded and the driver seat seam started separating.. will try another manufacturer.
