Great and economical replacement for ones that were 20 years old. No issues with the install, I just used a floor jack to raise the axle up so that these were forced into the cup by pressing against the strike plate below.

perfect replacement for your stock bump stops

These are a direct replacement for the OEM jounce bumper from Jeep (Jeep TJ). Unlike other bumpers made from dense urethane or rubber, these bumpers will completely compress into the retaining cup to maximize suspension travel upon "bottoming out", while still providing a soft landing as intended by the Jeep engineers. The Mopar equivalent is no longer available.

The difficult install could have been related to the rustiness of my jeep but the old bump stops were either dry rotted off or stuck in place. You definitely want to jack it up from the frame to allow the springs to spread (I was working on it from a 4 post lift). One side was easier to install than the other, again this could be from rust on my jeep.
