I have a 1995 YJ and needed to replace my worn out bow assembly. After a lot of research, I went with this one and I'm very glad I did. This product is a direct fit for my factory style top and works with the factory channels. It actually comes with channels in case you have a hardtop jeep that you're putting a soft top on for the first time, but I only needed to use one of the A-pillar pieces because the hook on my factory piece was worn out and broken. That was also a direct replacement for the factory piece. A final note, I wasn't sure how easy it would be to join the two halves but that was dead simple and took less than 20 seconds. Buy with confidence.

1995 YJ - Fit well on my ‘95 YJ. And functions as expected. I like the adjustment capability that should help with stretching and tightening of a new soft top. Takes some getting used to as far as ending functionality, but just a learning curve on the Jeep.

Note: the kit doesn’t include 100% of the hardware I needed (and it didn’t say it did either). I needed the top rails that go on the half doors also, but the kit doesn’t have those (note, I’m speaking to the rails, not the window frame). I haven’t seen they are available either. In the diagram on the site for the soft top and assembly, it is part 9.

Also, the mirrors I have are not completely compatible with this kit. My mirrors attach to the windshield uprights. The plastic uprights for this bow assembly don’t allow for mirrors in this location. I will either have to get door mount mirrors or “trim” some of the plastic away (which I don’t really want to do, but also don’t believe it would affect anything either). Not a huge deal. Maybe a little concern that those uprights are in fact plastic for durabilities sake.

Otherwise, this bow assembly fit well, looks to function well, and was a straight forward installation. I also got the Mastertop soft top. Everything is fitting nicely and just really seems very tight to start, but believe it is just needing to stretch and is not due to improper fit.

everything lined up good, factory set up (bought the Jeep without the frame or top) i live in the NE, do not attempt installing in wind (top) or cold...my bad, needed warmth. overall very good fit very happy. note, the frame does not come with the window retaining channels for the doors. Picture shows them, but does not come with them.

Fits pretty dang good. Only problem... tonau cover and cab cover snaps dont line up
