Which type of pads can I use with this kit? Brand, part#, etc? I would like to upgrade the pads although do not know what to use.
The original pads are #5143350AC, which are for front brakes on an 06-08 Dodge Ram 1500. If you are looking to upgrade the pads then you would need to find a brand that you like that fits that vehicle.

what size brake lines do I need for this on a 2014 Jeep wrangler unlimted sport with a 3 inch lift and 36 inch tires?
This brake kit will operate with the brake lines that you currently have on your Jeep.

If I use this kit how big of a wheel spacer would I need. with the Moab wheels
The minimum 1.25" wheel spacers will give you enough clearance.

I’ve seen a review on here about shimming the caliper bracket to the hub, and also asked a buddy who has this kit if he had to do the same thing and he said yes. But videos I’ve seen don’t mention it. So my question is, do I need to shim the caliper bracket to the hub and why?
There is a little bit of variance on the mounting ears on the axle that sometimes causes the inboard pad to sit very close to the rotor. It's not a definite that the customer needs to use a washer to space the caliper, but it is definitely a possibility. If it contacts throughout the whole driving cycle it would need to be spaced. This was not covered in installation videos due to the issues being raised long after the product was on the market. Crown has tested the calipers that are supplied with the kit against the original Mopar calipers and they measure the same, it was later that they measured the axles to find the difference.

Are the brake pads specific to crown? Or can I replace with OE pads?
The replacement pads are Mopar part # 5143350AC. I believe they are Ram pads.

Does this kit use the factory brackets? what is the difference? Thanks!
This brake system is essentially the one found on J8 (Military) Wranglers. The brackets, calipers, rotors and pads are larger.

What is the part number on the brackets? Left and Right? thanks!
Caliper brackets used in this kit are #68034720AA
John C.
How and where do I purchase just the rotors if I eventually need them?
The rotors are 68040177AA, you can purchase them through Quadratec or any vendor selling Crown or Mopar parts
