Once I re-read the instruction manual and stopped trying to install this item backwards (!) transposing the left and right frame brackets, the correct installation was truly a piece of cake. It seemed the plate almost flew onto the Jeep, and the whole install, including tourqueing the four bolts attaching the plate itself to the brackets, took less than an hour. If you are doing the install by yourself, a hydraulic jack helps to hold the plate - which is not heavy - in place while you bolt it up.

Nice look and feel, quality construction. A solid "A" on this skid for sure.

Super easy to install and looks like a good product. Only issue is that it interferes with my fog lights in my RR full width front bumper. Will need to notch out skid to fit around the lights.

Solidly built and very well packaged. Easy install… did it myself in about 30 mins. Hardest part was unwrapping it from the packaging. Gave it 4 stars not 5 because the hardware is stainless steel silver (stands out on the black plate) and I think it’s overpriced, but what isn’t nowadays. FJB.

Love the look and functionality. I had to make significant cut outs to make it fit with my Rugged Ridge Spartan Front Bumper. You should modify this to make it fit with the aftermarket bumpers.

I installed the black aluminum front stabilizer bar skid plate on a '14 Rubicon. The fit and installation was good. As expected, it took a little fiddling to get brackets etc. lined up. The plate has been through almost a year of wear, including a fairly tough winter with salty/sandy roads. The powder coat is holding up very well. The only thing I would change is the hardware. Bolt heads are visible and starting to rust. Considering the slotted hole the washer has to span, heavy washers should be included.

Quality and fitment oustanding. Just paint bolts black.

Easy to install. The unit is well made and feels substantial. It took me 30 minutes to install by myself. 5 of the minutes were switching the brackets around. A “driver side” stamp on one brackets could save a few minutes. Also, why aren’t the bolts black for the black unit? I would recommend this product.

Great bumper but check your clearances before you buy this. It will not fit on some AM bumpers. I tried to match with Rugged Ridge Spartan and no go. Bumper sits too low
