Reviews for Rancho 2in Progressive Sport Lift for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2-Door
This is exactly what I was looking for in height and ride feel, without going over the top like most other brand options and their 30'ish piece kits. 2 monkeys in my home garage, it took about 10 hrs but worth the effort to save money. (Previous reviewer must have been in his own time warp) Only thing added was a longer rear axle breather tube (spare 4" fuel line from garage), everything else fit as it needed to. End result is awesome.

Great kit if you don't want a rough country, and spend a little more to get the adjustable shocks. Rides great! Definitely would recommend. Only bad thing I have to include is, it says no drilling required....not true. I had to drill a hole in a bracket above front Axle to fit bumpstop. Kind of minor. But still a great kit!
Great value and fit perfect
looks and works good
Installed this kit on a 2017 JK. All of the nuts and bolts came off very easy and the installation was easy except I did need to get a spring compressor for one of the front replacement springs. Just did not have the front end high enough. The ride is much better than the original equipment. Steel bumpers and winch was installed before the kit. I liked the idea of the RS9000 XL adjustable shocks. Still working on the correct ride. I am 69 years old so it took a little longer to install but would do it again.
Netted 2.75 inches in front after replacing those garbage stock sport springs, and gained 2.0 inches in the rear. My jeep now sits PERFECTLY leveled and lifted with only 1/8 inch of front rake. I was impressed by the amount of lift this kit gave me with all the weight I have on my jeep! Im running my rig with a hard top, 120lb front bumper, 115lb rear bumper, and 75lb side armor. The adjustable shocks were a HUGE plus! Adjusting the shocks to 4 in the front and 3 in the rear makes my jeep run super soft. Adjusting them to 7 all the way around and it feels like "back to stock". Rough and stiff. I went back and forth for months trying to decide on the teraflex leveling kit with spring or this kit. Im so glad I decided to go with the ranchos!!! 100% no regrets!
This is a great kit for any budget build. My JK had a lift on it when I bought it and it rode very shift. I've been looking for a lift for a while, found this one and it seem to fit what I wanted. I got the kit with the 5000 shocks. If you have any mechanical skill and knowledge of jeeps, this kit is easy to install. Instruction seem to be well written. This kit rides great and does articulate well. Haven't had it on a trail run yet but very satisfied with this kit so far.
This is a great kit for the price, Rancho's customer service is strong, and the installation instructions are very well written. I asked Rancho a few questions and was given solid answers. The kit is easy to install with hand tools and rides better than stock. You can tune the ride with the adjustable shocks from stiff to pillow soft. I netted 2.125" front (after adding a winch), 1.5" rear (soft top) on my JKU. It is perfect for 32"-33" tires but comes with extended front bump stops for 35's. You don't need to install them for 33's and this was confirmed by Rancho.
