If my YJ has shackle extensions, would I order stock shocks or slightly taller ones?
Thanks for your help!
Just keep in mind, that most lift shackles, the amount of true lift that you are getting is in most cases only about half of what the marketed length of the shackle is. So with a set of 1.25" shackles or 1" shackles, the stock shocks should be appropriate for you. Thanks for your inquiry.

I purchased the Hydro 7.0 shocks May 2021. They have 6000 easy street miles on them. The front lower bushings are no good, when you hit a bump you can here the shock hit the shock mount. Is it possible to get new bushings? Will they last longer the originals?

Replacement shock bushings are available by phone with a Jeep specialist at 800-745-6037. Use part number 16116-9000 for the loop end bushing and part number 16116-9001 for the stem end bushing for the front shocks. The rear shock takes 16116-9000 one for each end. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have a 1988 YJ with stock suspension, I was told that these will raise my height and lift it. Is this correct? When ordering I would have to only choose the 0-1.25 option?
No. Shocks are not used to lift a Jeep, that will require taller leaf springs. A shock would be ordered to the correct height so that it will match the lift height your Jeep has from the springs. Shocks alone will not provide clearance a lift kit provides. Thanks for your inquiry.

Are these twin tube or monotube?
These are twin-tube construction. Thanks for your inquiry.

i am about to replace my original shocks on my Jeep YJ , the the lift you referring to
would be the body lift or the or the suspension lift because I have a 2" body lift but no suspension lift..so would that be considered as no lift....
Thanks
Doug
Correct. For shocks a body lift will not factor in. You would select the stock ride height or 0" lift shock if all you have is a body lift.

can you tell me the travel range for these?
1-2.5" Extended Length: 22.30" Collapsed Length: 13.52"
3 -4.5" Extended Length: 27.80" Collapsed Length: 16.27"

With Rugged Ridge 1" lift shackles, do you recommend 0-1" shock length or 1"-2.5" length?
For most applications the 0-1" would be sufficient. You would want to consider the taller shocks if you installed fresh, heavy duty springs at the same time.
