Just got my Shade Top Monday. Installation is quick, but takes a little patience to tighten down the straps. It gives a little extra shade and cuts down on the sun glare. My kids like the fact it cuts down on the wind in their face with the top down. Once I got it all snug and tight I had no flapping going down the highway. The top can be left on with the soft top, but I had to undo the front two straps to make it work. There are not holes for the hard top screws to go through so I'd guess it couldn't be left on with the hard top. Seems like a high quality top especially for the money.

Very nice top!, keeps the sun out and looks great in red. I only give it 4 stars due to one technical flaw, some of the mesh holes are not cut out so it makes the top look kinda sloppy. But overall great for hawaii weather

After one season the front button broke and I had a sew a new one on. Other than that I love it. Very easy install and it keeps the sun off of you.

Love the top, but I wish it had holes so I could leave it on when I put the hardtop back on.

Overall a decent shade. Does it's job. Having to undo the straps that connect to the D-rings and fold back the corners is slightly inconvenient. Ball bungees or another type of quick-release strap would be more efficient.

I've had to return two of these tops for manufacturer defects. The first one had straps in the wrong place, and one strap was missing a buckle. Second one had the front center snaps off center, a strap in the wrong place, and the long-side edges flared out, when this top is supposed to be rectangular. The actual top material seems to be quality, so it gets one star. Quadratec makes returns easy enough, though I shouldn't have to keep returning the same product.

I used it twice and the buttons on the front fell apart.

not really useful I found out not much deferent between that and open top.
