Reviews for Skyjacker 8203 SKJ Black Max Dual Steering Stabilizer for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Hopefully fixes my steering sway
Thanks
I had pretty bad death wobble and couldnt figure out what it was. checked everything on the front axle and everything was tight except the old stablizer. since i beefed up to 35" tires i needed something a little more heavy duty for the job and these are perfect. easy install and steering is smooth and all wobble is gone!
All when together great works great.
Spent $3000. Trying to cure death wobble. Jeep dealer was a waist of time. They cost me $2500 . Solved most of the issues myself. You can't check the track bar unless you remove it and check the bushings. This duel shock unit fixed the death wobble. But you need to check all joints in the front end first.
This thing worked! I bought a used 2010 Jeep Wrangler that had 35" tires on it with the OEM steering stabilizer. There was a pretty good wobble around 35 - 40 mph so I replaced the OEM stabilizer with a beefier stabilizer. It helped a little, but not much, the wobble would still pretty severe sometimes. Then I went all out and bought the dual steering stabilizer kit. Worked like a champ. Wobble is gone and steering seems to be a bit nicer also.
Man this took out all of my death wobble what an awesome product
An excellent problem, I installed this to my jeep after I was having problems with death wobble after installing a lift kit. Fixed it immediately! Would definitely recommend to anyone also expoeriencing a similar problem.
Product came as promised, and was very easy to install. BUT, after I installed this on my 2014 JK with no steering problems, I then experienced front end wooble . Re adjusted, re-measured and we will give it another go. Skyjacker was very helpful too and said to call them if I could not get it right. Love Quadratec and Skyjacker!
