Really happy with this product. It’s bright & looks excellent, especially at night.

Easy installation. Very cool.

Installed this on vacation with minimal tools. The illumination is great. The install was straightforward. Because we have a TJ, we cut off the “jk” click-in adapter. (It doesn’t match up to anything on a TJ.) The instructions are for JK owners, but there are two wires that go to your third brake light and two wires for this device. One caution for TJ owners: we yanked on our wires too hard one time. They run from the two metal contacts on the side of your tailgate. Initially, we had no power to anything..... make sure those metal contacts didn’t detach at all. And, Rookie Tip: test it with the back door closed all the way.... a non-Jeep friend was concerned until we closed the door and it lit up.

Awesome. Everyone stops me and tells me how great that looks. I removed the "ET" brake light (with a zaw-saw).

Simple to install, works well and is very bright. I have basic steel wheels with small openings and they block the lights slightly but for most Rims they seem great.

This was the best replacement for a third brake like I have seen for any wrangler. especially When you have oversized tires on the jeep the factory third brake light is in the way of your rearview mirror. The only downside to this product I would say is the holes where it sits on the logs. It should be wired to go all the way on the wa when you have oversized tires on the jeep the factory third brake light is in the way of your rearview mirror. Bright so there’s no way you can miss it, as well as it was plug and play for my 08 jku.
