This fuel door looks great on the Jeep. I love the fact that the fuel slot is enclosed and you open a door to get in. It fits the theme of my wrangler perfectly.

Great looking and very solid product

Easy to install but there was no alinement pin to keep the cover in same place with out some rotation possible. I assume this is because of production issues of making sure the pin was in the correct location or the cover would appear crooked once installed.

2018 JKU Sahara:

I purchased the fuel solely on looks. Install is straight forward but as others have mentioned, the fuel door does not fit flush to the body and will rotate. The other issue is the closing locking latch. It is a very small thin plastic tab that I’m sure one day will break. The three tabs that secure to the sheet metal do not allow the fuel door to snap in place like the OEM. Every time I stop to get gas I spend a few minutes adjusting and pushing it back down. This has become quite annoying.

Time will tell if it holds up. I kept my factory fuel filler cover just in case.

This is a great looking product and does look good on the Wrangler. But sadly, there are a few minor annoyances with the build quality. Firstly, and most importantly, the locking clip for the door doesn’t give any confidence of durability. If feels flimsy and fragile in its operation meaning you’ll probably need to treat it gently to avoid braking it. Secondly the locating pin found on the OEM filler neck is absent on this replacement unit and hence once installed the unit can be rotated. Both only minor and something that could be easily fixed by the manufacturer to ensure customer satisfaction.
