Reviews for Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.1 Piggyback Shock Kit for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Just installed this set of Teraflex Falcon shocks on my 2017 Wrangler Unlimited. 5 days of driving to the beach, on the highway and some rugged roads--> I am fully satisfied with the performance thus far. They are awesome shocks! No lean, less bounce, stiff control and good feel for the road. Smooth highway ride and they look great! Massive, rough and rugged look from the ground up. NOW for the durability - longevity life of the product test. More to follow.
Purchased Falcon Series 3 piggyback for 0-2 inch lifts for my 2017 4-door Sahara with 2” leveling kit, 1 1/2” wheel extensions and new 270/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Before these shocks it drove bouncy with the OEM shocks on highway until I installed these Falcons. Amazing! These shocks are worth the money, easy to install and look awesome. Very happy that my ride is so much better on and off road. 5 stars.
Beefy shocks for the offroader, without the trouble of installing remote reservoirs. Ride great on the road, similar in feel to my previous Bilstein, but with MUCH more extension off road. I finally get to enjoy all the flex from my lift! Easy to install, but very hard to compress, so lift your Jeep's body high enough to lower your axle to the max for easier installation. A hi-lift jack comes handy. I've hit a couple of trails with these and don't regret not getting the adjustable ones at this time.
these are amazing! yes they are on the expensive side but once you get the installed and take it down the rode the first time its worth the money!
Shocks come very well packaged, I have ran other shocks and these are great. There is no side to side body roll when going around corners. The install was simple on the front, just line up the bracket for the front shock tower hole and bolt on the shock. The rear requirement was to drill out the out side lower shock mount and install the spacer kit. Super easy! They ride a little stiff but I like the fact I can get the adjust knobs later for the install. They do extend a lot more then other shocks so I would recommend limit straps and exhaust spacers.
