Reviews for Teraflex Falcon Nexus EF 2.1 Steering Stabilizer for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Very solid! Looks and feels high quality, just like the shocks. Went on easy. Placement on the Jeep is perfect. I installed mine along with the Teraflex Monster track bar. As in the directions, you have to pay attention to the position of the trackbar adjustment clamp bolts, and the actual position of the steering stabilizer. There is room for making it fit without contacting any other items.
I read where someone asked if you buy the one for "stock suspension", and later upgrade to heavier duty steering components, could you make it fit. Since the only difference between the two options is the clamp, and since that clamp is attached to the stabilizer with a bolt, I would bet that you could obtain a new clamp from Falcon. Only a guess....
Worth every Penny. After installing this stabilizer there is no feedback through the wheel and the steering feels solid. Prying the oem stabilizer bracket off of the tie rod was the hardest part of the install. Defiantly worth it for $250.
Absolutely amazing. Packing was A1. You can definitely tell the quality of craftsmanship is second to none. TeraFlex definitely took their time and put a lot of effort into the Falcon line. Install was a peice of cake and all the hardware was included and was good quality. It also really performs well on the road and brings a nice tight firm feel to the JKs steering. 10/10 would reccomend
It does its job
purchased and installed over the weekend. BUYER BEWARE - make sure you have the proper metric nut for the shaft BEFORE you start the install. They claim that the factory nut will work, but in my case at least, that was not the case. I had the whole thing taken apart, and then, while my JKU sat there Out of Service, I was scrambling to find the proper, automotive grade, metric nut. Luckily I live 15 minutes away from the corporate headquarters of Bolt Depot, and they agreed to stay 10 minutes after hours on a Saturday. Back in service, and so far, an amazing product!
Avoid. There are plenty of other stabilisers, but only this one has an overly complicated mount that is impossible to change out when you upgrade to a bigger tierod. I can't even imagine who thought this was a good design.
