Hello, will these work with an explorer 8.8 (31 spline) axle tube?
Ford 8.8 rear axles are closer to 3-1/4" so you should be able to use these brackets, some grinding of the bracket may need to be done for a tight fit.
Will these fit in a ford 8.8?
These are for 3" diameter tubing. The Ford 8.8" has 3.25" diameter tubing.

Yes they will work on any of the Dana axles that are factory to the JK Wrangler
I have a 98 Wrangler Sahara and I'm not sure if the brackets will fit it. Also I'm confused, is the price per bracket or for 2? Thanks Al
Hello, this is a universal application part. It can be welded onto any 3" OD axle tube. If you have a factory rear axle in your 1998 it should be a Dana 35. The Dana 35 rear axle tube has an OD of 2.5". They are sold in pairs.
