Reviews for Rugged Ridge 3/4" D-Rings - 9500lbs.
Really like these, only issue is the color seems to be fading, good thing you get two in the package.
Feel like they are well constructed, but the actual color is certainly not a true red - has a orange tint in them. that doesn't match the red on the Warn winch or the Rubicon accents.
Paint a little cheap, flaking off when I got them.
Ordered red and got two different colors of red. Paint coming off in spots even though individually packaged. Showed backorder status, but shipped with my order somehow. They will work.
Installed easy and the d-rings seem strong but after the first night on my vehicle it rained and there was already rust on the threaded part of the connector. Not only does it look bad but I have concerns about longevity.
The threads one one of these were messed up so the only way to screw the bolt (in either direction) is with a crescent wrench or other kind of additional lever. I should be upset, but the other one was so loose it backed out while driving down washboard roads in Death Valley and just up and fell off...so now I am not so sure I should be upset that one needs tools just to "finger tighten" when the other which was snugged up and finger tight fell right off... other D-rings by other mfg I have on my Jeep had no issues on the washboards.
Paint on the rims was already chipping off whe I received them.
Got a set of these in red for Christmas 2016 from my wife. They looked good at first but removed them from the front of my jeep July 2017 because the nice red was now a nice pink. Functionality is not the issue but I wish the powder coating had lasted longer than 7 months.
I’ve had these on my Jeep for about 7 months. They are already rusting! I would expect them to last a lot longer than that. Very disappointed!!
Have ordered 3 different sets and each came in with the paint chipped off on both sides and on the screw. The whole point of these colored drings is the color and each time from rugged ridge, the color has been chipped off. Not one or two small chips, huge paint chips.
