Reviews for Quadratec 3/4" D-Ring Shackle Pair with Black D-ring Isolator Kit

Ordered the black textured powder coat D-rings with isolators. As other buyers mentioned before, the coating was already coming off the D rings before I took them out of the box. It continued to come off in multiple spots.

Bought the textured D-ring pair with isolators. They exactly what another buyer stated. The coating flakes real easy in numerous spots especially where raised letters are. I've coated mine with Flex-Seal which I have used on other parts and underbody and has worked superior to any other coating. We shall see how long these last. Apparently, the coating is over galvanized steel which one certain coatings can adhere to galvanized steel. I highly recommend going with the galvanized or powder coated.

D-rings are nice textured black coating looks great isolation parts are well made and fit secure. However I believe one clevis is a defect or poorly manufactured. The eyelets that the pin go in are pinched in. The pin still threads in but it is significantly tighter on my bumper that the other clevis. The D-rings and isolators are embossed with Quadratec lettering.

These look substantial enough but the were extremely poorly packaged for shipment. The black textured D-rings were loose in the box without being in their plastic wrap. As a result, I now have many spots were that paint had been scraped off rubbing against each other during shipping. A bit more care during packing would have avoided this.

I like the isolators, but I got the textured D-Rings and there is a lot of texture flaking off in numerous places. I should have just gone with the black powder coat or plain galvanized. Pretty disappointing

I ordered the Matte black color. Showed up with the paint already flaking off in the plastic bag each is individually wrapped in. All 4 I ordered have same issue. I attached a few photos showing the paint flakes in the bag and defects in quality. You can literally touch it and paint falls off. Junk. Also under the paint that is flaking you can see what appears to be thin cracks in the forgings. I would not recommend anyone buy these. Go with a quality brand not something marketed for only best price point. You get what you pay for. Submitted a request for refund / return pending.
