Nice way to attach the hook, sturdy.

Little things can do so much. I had been "stowing" my hook on one of the front tow hooks, but it leaves a lot of cable hanging out on the front of the Jeep. This elegantly simple little gadget solves that problem, and it's a drop-dead install to boot.

Its exactly what you think it is.
The steel is thick and sturdy. This loop makes for a nice alternative to having your winch hook mounted to a recovery hook scratching it up and eventually rusting it.

This is a fairly heavy gauge of Steel, with a well applied powder coat. It does the job very well. A previous review knocked it for not being sturdy enough, but I respectfully disagree. I think if it were any beefier, it would not be as attractive. I did not mount it on the front of the fairlead, as suggested, but rather mounted it between the fairlead and the winch mounting plate. This makes for a cleaner install, in my opinion. I only knocked once tar off of my review because I think it would have been better if it had been designed to go behind the winch plate rather than in front of the fairlead.

It is as advertised, but I decided that it just doesn't look "right" installed. The quality and finish is fine, just isn't exactly what I was looking for.

I think its a great product, just needs to be stamped out of heavier steel. After all its for off road.
