Reviews for Rugged Ridge 1-1304 Rear Bump Stop Kit 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
I installed these in the rear of my 2010 JKU Sport. Basically I put them in place, wedged about 2"-2.5" of shims (2x4, 1x3, .5" stock) under them and jacked under the spring. These suckers are TOUGH. Absolutely NO give. I jacked my tire a clear 6" off the ground and NOTHING. I had to get on the bumper and jump up and down on the truck several times to get these in. Several times they went in crooked and I had to take them out and start over. You have to make sure they are going in perfectly in line all the way around AS you add pressure otherwise they seat crooked and you have to start over. Pry bars are useless. Only thing that worked was perfect alignment of bump stop in cup, full jack extension and jumping on the rig. On the up side, should outlast the truck.
