Works wonders!

Good cap but if it had a way to attach the strap from the factory cap so you couldn't lose it when forgetting to put it back after filling tank it would 5 stars. I lost both mine because I left them on the rear bumper after fueling lol

In the SUMMER 2021 Catalog on page 48, this item is listed as to fitting 1997 to 2006 Wranglers
factory MOPAR Locking Fuel Caps. But it DID NOT FIT my 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ Sahara as advertised in the catalog! I have returned the gas cap for a refund. I finally got one from a Jeep dealership and i works great! QUADRATEC is still my first choice for Jeep parts and service! Thanks for the refund in advance! Bryan in NC.

The gas cap can be a bit tricky to master, but works. So far no check engine warnings and no device failure to report. For the price, a code to the vehicle key would be good. This is a MOPAR item so it is over priced and proud of it. I recommend this product so far with exception to its price for no coding to the ignition key feature.

This product does exactly what it is meant to do. My only complaint is I dropped it once after having it for 3 years and the locking cylinder where you insert the key came out. The cylinder could not be repaired so I got a new one and it works great.

I've had this for less than 1 year and it no longer locks. Just a normal gas cap at this point.
