This mount has held my Jerry can tightly in place for several months now. It's been through everything I can give it and it still holds.

This is a great American made product!
It is on par for price with other bumpers and tire carriers. The sales team is great to deal with if you need replacement parts for failed or worn.

Same as Mr. Robert B. Being a carpenter I always measure. There close, maybe 3/8ths mounted, they are definitely (Not Plume on Level Surface) definitely needs shims to make it look right!

Haven't gotten Gerry cans yet. Looks cool though.

My Rock Hard jerry can mounts were shipped promptly and arrived well packaged and undamaged. The square u-bolts supplied had been cut down from a longer length and required some straightening and thread repair to fit properly. Also, the mounting feet had been welded 2 degrees off which required the use of shims for the can mounts to fit square (not supplied). Frankly, I expected a better fit and finish from Rock Hard, which is known for its product quality, but to the manufacturer's credit Rock Hard shipped me a new set of can mounts that fit better and they paid for the return shipping of the first set. But for having to return the first set of can mounts and the ill-fitting hardware I would give this product four stars.

The straps that hold the cans onto the rack have a cheap plastic buckle. Very hard to tighten and once you get the straps tight, they're a pain to loosen. For the price, I expected better quality.
