Reviews for Quadratec 3.5” Coil Spring Suspension Kit with FOX IFP Mono-Tube Shocks for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Shipping was fast and easy. I installed with some assistance from fellow Jeepers in a garage with a lift in just under 3 hours. So far the ride is great. Much stiffer than stock going over speed bumps, but I anticipated that. Highway speeds, the Jeep actually rides smoother than stock. Already tested on the trails after adding 35's and what a difference it makes. Very happy with my purchase and this kit!
Went from a 2.5" quadratec lift with hydro 7.0 shocks to this kit and noticed a remarkable improvement in the ride. Good quality lift.
GREAT KIT , look amazing
Great ride! very solid and the 3.5 looks perfect with 35’s.
Realistically this will be a 4.5 out of 5. great lift. the jeep looks great. but as an every day driver the fox shocks are a little stiff and bumpy. When I'm taking a turn I have very little body roll. over all I am very pleased with this basic lift to get my jeep started.
This was supposed to just be a budget lift for me. The kit does what it says it will do. It lifted my Jeep 3.5”. This was my first lift and took me about 4 1/2 hours by myself. The hardest part was drilling the holes for the front and back track-bar relocation mounts. The angle was tough. Also recommended you pair up all hardware before you start working. Some of the washers can be confused with others. The rear brake line relocation brackets work well. The way they do the front leaves something to be desired. The Fox shocks are nice and the springs ride is fine. The rear track-bar relocation mount is poorly designed. It ties into the rear differential cover and doesn’t work on most aftermarket covers. You will need to eventually get a High Steer Kit (Flipped Drag Link) to correct the bump steer problem. Mine bump steers off acceleration in addition to the bumps. You may also need to adjustable track-bars. I tried to do budget and ended up spending what I probably would have spent on a Rock Krawler full system to correct caster angle, elemenate bump steer and get the rear axel centered.
This lift looks great after installation, but it took 9 hours to install at a mechanic shop on a lift, with every tool at our disposal. Springs ride rough which isn't that big of a deal but is worth knowing. The rear track bar tower brace did not line up with the track bar tower, it needed modification, and I recently got a better quality one from a different company, and tossed the quadratec one in the dumpster. All that said I wish I would have spent the extra few hundred on a better lift. I'll just replace parts on it slowly until everything is replaced except for the fox shocks.
