Reviews for Quadratec 2.5” Coil Spring Suspension Kit with FOX IFP Mono-Tube Shocks for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Perfect kit without needing to upgrade to much in your Jeep. Best buck for your dollar.
Rides phenomenal with the Fox shocks. I also installed a Teraflex monster track bar. Lift gave me about 3.3 inches I’m assuming It’ll settle some.
I love this kit. It was time to replace the stock shocks and I wanted to increase the ride height. Perfect height, rides great, doesn't cause any unwanted esp issues. Very simple install too.
I'm very happy with this purchase. The height is perfect and the ride feels great. I'd recommend this package if you are looking for a stock suspension replacement.
I ordered this kit for a friend of mine , I also installed it for him , at first the ride was a bit stiff but after a month of ridding the jeep around the jeep rides better then when it was stock !
Perfect height and ride .
Lift looks great. MAJOR INSTALL WARNING: when you install the rear driver's side coil spring, test fit the new track bar bracket that elevates the driver's side of the track bar and MAKE SURE the spring is rotated so there is a sufficient gap between the coils to install the track bar bolt. In other words, make sure the thick coil itself is not covering up the new track bar bracket bolt hole (it's the lower of the two holes for the 2.5" lift. That was a VERY late discovery and very difficult to rectify (though I eventually did it without having to take the wheel and sway bar end links off). Minor issue: The 3" rubber bump stops are indeed too long for the hold down screws - I cut mine to 2" after reading these reviews and looking online (plus the install directions say they are 2"). To make sure they install as flatly as possible I put the cut-side up and the original finish side down.
Kit comes with 3" front bump stops and 2.5" hardware, you either have to cut down the 3" bump stomps to 2" and use the hardware in the kit or buy 3.5" hardware. I notified customer service and they sent me a new kit free of charge with the same hardware. To remedy the problem I cut the bump stops down to 2" using a miter saw. The instructions in the kit and on the web site call for 2" bump stops. Other than that great kit and the stance looks good.
Good quality but missing parts. You need front sway bar end links. I ordered the JKS QD adjustable end links but that adds over $100 to the kit. I also made some simple brackets to attach the front brake lines to the front spring base otherwise the brake lines will flip around and/or be bound up in the springs under compression.
The fox shocks ride pretty nicely but it's a straight axle vehicle and it will never ride like an independent suspension vehicle. It's definitely better than stock but I also installed the AEV Geometry Correction Brackets so that might be playing a role in the ride improvement.
I'm currently running 33s and there's absolutely no issues with rubbing in very easy trail use. I don't rock crawl so I can't speak to that.
