The label on the Crown lift gate outer seal I received stated "Made in U.S.A."!
Installation on a 84 CJ7 hard top with original seal. All the cleats were present and align with the holes on the lift gate. The fit is snug when installing, and fits well. Installing the seal was not too tight, nor was there extra slack in the end. I now have to give a little push to close the lift gate on the hard top. I can live with that as it will eventually shrink.
I am glad I bought this Crown product for this purchase.

was missing two cleats that hold it in but other than that it worked fine!

My main problem is the lack of installation instructions. Quadratec is probably more used to newer Jeeps and has forgotten that we CJ-7 restorers do not necessarily always have originals to compare to. Good quality rubber though.
