Brilliant product helps get the radio out of everyone's way without sacrificing leg room. Would just like to add the some early TJ's have rivets instead of screws for fasteners. This is also a very simple issue to resolve if you own a drill and a hand held rivet installation tool.

Perfect accessory to mount a radio in my daughter’s 1986 CJ7. I was looking for a design that kept the radio secured safely and allowed for useable access. With a little trimming on the tab it works great.

Rugged radio fits sideways which I think I like better anyway. Mount is solid! I had to drill and tap the windshield frame since the torx bolts just rotated, really looked like rivets once they were out. Much better than the left dash mount I had before that barely fit this rm60.

This mount is great, install was very easy. We installed the same mount on a 2004 Rubicon and it was a nightmare. The mounting screws wouldn't hold, so we ended up putting molly bolts in to hold it. So 04-07 mount I give a five for the bracket and a one for the mounting screws.

Overall easy install. NOTE: if you have plastic molding along the windshield you will need to trim to install bracket.
